TESTIMONIALS
“Thank-you for making our stay so cozy and relaxing. Our Country Blue Room was so much more than we imagined and the view is breathtaking. Our bellies were filled with amazing breakfasts, which we always looked forward to and the service was above and beyond. The evening tea and biscuits were such a treat. You really went out of your way for us. The second we stepped foot into your home we felt welcomed with your hospitality. We definitely plan on coming back. We cannot wait to tell our families just how wonderful trip we had all because of two lovely hosts who let us stay in their beautiful home.
- Sincerely, Denny and Bobbi.

“Thanks so much for your incredible hospitality! We both agree that this has been the most restful/relaxing vacation we’ve had yet...mainly because of the atmosphere you’ve created here and your warmth and hospitality; and of course the best gourmet cooking in the area!! We couldn’t have asked for more! Thanks!”
- Alysen and Jody (Ontario)

“Thank you so much for the wonderful stay in “Wine Country”. It was a great experience. Apples and Quails is by far, one of the most superb B&B’s we have stayed at – no detail has been missed – and those breakfasts…! We will definitely be recommending it to all. We’ll definitely see you again!
- Regards, Vicki and John

A Week-end at "Apples & Quails" B&B, Summerland, BC
This article appeared in The Travel Society Magazine (www.thetravelsociety.com) written by a guest.

A 40th wedding anniversary gift of a "Table for Two" Romance Package, found us in a charming B&B called "Apples & Quails", overlooking beautiful Okanagan Lake. Summerland, BC (48 km from Kelowna), is nestled in the heart of the Okanagan Valley surrounded by scenic mountains, vineyards, pristine lakes and sandy beaches.

We chose our get-away in late September, just ahead of the fall wine festival - a perfect time to view the luscious orchards and vineyards. The three guest rooms in the beautiful, air-conditioned home of Elaine and Chris Nuessler are thematic and we were pleased with our choice of the lovely and spacious Country Blue Room, with French doors leading onto the outside deck overlooking a stunning view of the Okanagan Lake and surrounding area.

Our day started with a two-course gourmet breakfast in the company of two other visiting couples, one from Chicago and the other from Germany. Elaine prepared gourmet egg croissant strata for us, while Chris continued to fill our juice glasses and coffee cups. We 'pressed' Elaine for a few of her breakfast recipes which she was pleased to give to us. The lower level, guest sitting room is equipped with many comforts, including a library of books, magazines, CD's, games, DVD videos, walking sticks, original paintings, bar fridge, microwave, wireless web, etc.

Our days were spent hiking up Giants Head Park, which is within walking distance of Apples & Quails, wine-tasting at several vineyards with interesting names such as Dirty Laundry Vineyard, Silk Scarf and the picturesque Thornhaven Estate Winery. After returning from dinner at the Cellar Door Bistro at Sumac Ridge Estate Winery, included in "The Table for Two" package, the outdoor hot tub awaited us.

Although I've only mentioned our package, there are several to choose from: the "Classic Car" Wine Tour Package, "Tee for Two" golf package or "Luxuries of Life" Spa Package for Two. As this was a wonderful gift from our children, I won't discuss the price, but information is available as follows:
